Native Plant Society local chapter presents July 2 program on water and native plants

The Prairie Rose Chapter of the Texas Native Plant Society invites you to attend the group’s monthly program next Tuesday, July 2, on water quality, quantity and native plants.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Somervell County Citizens Center.

Jody Cason, project manager and watershed coordinator for the Lake Granbury Watershed Protection Plan with Texas A&M Agrilife Research ,will present the program.

Cason graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Master of Science in Environmental Management. He has spent 12 years working with water resources in various positions. Cason has lived in Granbury with his wife and two daughters since the beginning of 2012.
