Art league meeting to focus on portrait drawing

UnknownThe Barnard Street Art League hosts its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at the Barnard’s Mill Annex.

Glen Rose HIgh School art teacher Randy Haney will discuss how he teaches portrait drawing. He also will bring a student to show some of her work.

Art league members are asked to bring any work that you are willing to display for one month minimum.

“If you are willing to display this work, we will get a sign made that indicates local artists’ work,” Art League President Pat Barrow said. “Maybe we can get something worked out with the Somervell History Foundation for a real system of displaying our ‘local artists.’”
