Annual Brazos River cleanup set for April 5

Want to help keep trash out of the Brazos River?

Then come to the Friends of the Brazos annual river cleanup scheduled for Saturday, April 5. Volunteers assist for a few hours with the removal of trash and debris in the river.

Afterwards, enjoy a delicious complimentary barbecue lunch donated by the Ranch House Restaurant in Glen Rose. The meal will be served from noon to 5 p.m.

Volunteers are asked to meet at Tres Rios Campground, 2322 County Road 312, at 9 a.m.

Free canoes and shuttles will be provided by Low Water Canoes and Rhodes Canoes

RV camping and cabins are available at Tres Rios. Call Tres Rios at 254-897-4253 for more information.
